The ThermaCare heat compresses for localized pain offer flexible application.The skin-friendly pads with six patented heat cells can be easily attached to the skin thanks to four adhesive points.No prescription is required for this product.

Area of application

The heat compresses are particularly effective in relieving muscle and joint pain caused by overexertion, strains, sprains, osteoarthritis or muscle tension.They are suitable for acute, chronic and occasional pain and are suitable for people aged 12 and over who can use the product independently.

Mode of action

The heat generation of ThermaCare is based on a natural principle: heat through oxidation.When they come into contact with air, the compresses and pads heat up automatically without the need for active pharmaceutical ingredients.This enables natural relief from muscle, period and joint pain and supports a pain-free life.

Contraindications

ThermaCare should not be used on damaged skin, bruises or swelling, diabetes, circulatory disorders, rheumatoid arthritis or during pregnancy.In older people and during breastfeeding, a doctor should be consulted before use.

Dosage and application

Tear open the bag immediately before use and do not cut the heat envelope.Peel away the paper to reveal the adhesive side and place the envelope over the pain area with the adhesive side facing the skin.It may take up to 30 minutes for ThermaCare to reach its therapeutic temperature.Remove the heat pack after 8 hours and do not use the product for more than 8 hours in a 24-hour period.

Do not attach the heat envelope too tightly and do not allow the heat cells to overlap.Do not put additional pressure on the product and keep the heat envelope dry.Remove the product before a MRT-procedure to avoid the risk of burns.After use, dispose of the product in accordance with local regulations.

Notes

ThermaCare may cause burns or blisters.Check your skin regularly during use and remove the product immediately if skin irritation or burns occur.Supervision is required for users between 12 and 18 years of age and for people who cannot use the product independently.Elderly people should wear ThermaCare over thin clothing and should not use it while sleeping.

Each heat cell contains iron powder (approx. 2g).In case of swallowing, skin or eye contact, seek professional help immediately.Keep the product out of the reach of children and pets and do not heat it in the microwave.

Do not use on leaking or damaged heat cells, with topically applied preparations, on diseased, damaged or injured skin, on bruises and swelling that have occurred in the last 48 hours, on people unable to follow the instructions for use, together with other types of heat, on users under 12 years of age, on the face/head, breasts, fingers, groin, feet or toes, on the back of the knee or inside of the arm or forearm or onlower abdomen.
