Mode of action

In the ThermaCare heating pads, iron powder reacts with oxygen, creating heat that is transferred to the body.This heat improves blood circulation and relieves tension.

Contraindications

The heat pads should not be used if the heat cells are leaking or the pad is damaged.Also not with medical liniments, plasters or other types of heat.Avoid use on diseased, injured or damaged skin, on bruises or swelling that have occurred in the last 48 hours, or on areas of the body without sensation of warmth.People who cannot remove the product themselves or follow the instructions for use, such as children or some elderly people, should not use it.

Dosage

Start treatment with ThermaCare heating pads as soon as you feel the first signs of pain.Early treatment can relieve the pain before it interferes with your everyday life.The heat pads can be worn for up to 12 hours.They should not be used more frequently within 24 hours.

Patient information

If you are up to 55 years old, you can also wear the heating pads at night.If you want to use it during pregnancy or if you have diabetes, you should consult your doctor beforehand.Do not wet or wash the envelope or pad as this will render the heat cells ineffective.Normal body sweat does not affect function.

If you are pregnant you should talk to your doctor or pharmacist before use.

Notes

The product may cause skin irritation or burns.Check your skin regularly for irritation, redness, and burns.If your skin is sensitive, wear the heat pads over thin clothing.Do not use the product while sleeping.If you have diabetes, circulatory problems, heart disease, rheumatoid arthritis or are pregnant, talk to your doctor or pharmacist before use.After use, you can simply dispose of the heating pads with normal household waste.

Heat-producing products can cause burns.This risk increases with age.From age 55, wear ThermaCare over thin clothing and do not use while sleeping.

Heat cells contain iron powder (approx. 2 g).If swallowed, consult a doctor immediately.In case of skin or eye contact, remove the pad, rinse the affected area with water and consult a doctor immediately.Keep the heating pads out of the reach of children and pets.Do not heat pads in the microwave or attempt to reheat them as they may catch fire.

Do not use after the expiry date stated on the carton and sachet.
