ThermaCare for localized pain

The ThermaCare heat compresses for localized pain are particularly suitable for flexible use.The skin-friendly pads with six patented heat cells can be used flexibly and are attached to the skin with four adhesive dots.No prescription is required for this product.

Area of application

ThermaCare heat compresses provide effective and targeted relief from muscle and/or joint pain caused by overexertion, strains and sprains, osteoarthritis or muscle tension.They are suitable for acute, chronic and occasional pain.This product is intended for people aged 12 and over who can use the product independently.

Mode of action

The heat generation of ThermaCare is based on a natural principle: heat through oxidation.The envelopes and pads heat up automatically when they come into contact with air and are free of active pharmaceutical ingredients.Each heat cell contains iron powder (approx. 2g).ThermaCare naturally sets an example against muscle, menstrual and joint pain and supports you in a pain-free life.

Contraindications

ThermaCare should not be used on damaged skin, bruises or swelling, diabetes, circulatory problems, rheumatoid arthritis or during pregnancy.If you are breastfeeding or used on older people, you should consult a doctor before use.

Dosage

Tear open the bag immediately before use.Do not cut into the heat envelope.Peel off the paper to reveal the adhesive side.Place over the pain area with the adhesive side facing the skin.It may take up to 30 minutes for ThermaCare to reach its therapeutic temperature.Remove the heat pack after 8 hours.

Do not use the product for more than 8 hours in a 24-hour period.Do not attach the heat envelope too tightly and do not allow the heat cells to overlap.Do not put additional pressure on the product, e.g.B. by leaning against hard surfaces or wearing under tight clothing.If the product feels too hot, stop using or wear it over thin clothing rather than directly on the skin.To avoid an increased risk of burns, remove the product before undergoing a MRT-procedure (magnetic resonance imaging).Keep the heat wrap dry.At the end of use, when its thermal function is exhausted, dispose of the product in accordance with local regulations for household waste collection and avoid disseminating its contents into the environment.

Notes

This product may cause burns or blisters.Check your skin regularly during use.If you notice skin irritation or burns, remove the product immediately.For users who cannot use the product independently or for users between 12 and 18 years of age, supervision by a carer is required.Your risk of burns increases as you age.If you are 55 or older, wear ThermaCare over thin clothing and not while you sleep.Talk to your doctor before use if you have diabetes, circulatory problems, heart disease or rheumatoid arthritis, or if you are pregnant.Stop use and talk to your doctor if you notice any discomfort, burning, swelling, rashes or other persistent changes in your skin in the application area and if your pain lasts more than 7 days or worsens.

If swallowed, please seek professional help immediately.In case of skin or eye contact, remove the heat pack, rinse the affected area with water and seek professional help immediately.If the heat wrap becomes damaged or tears during use, remove it.Keep out of the reach of children and pets.Do not heat or attempt to reheat in the microwave as ThermaCare could catch fire.

Do not use if the heat cells are leaking and/or the heat envelope is damaged or torn or the packaging is damaged.Do not use together with externally applied preparations.Do not use on diseased, damaged or injured skin.Do not use on bruises or swelling that have occurred in the last 48 hours.Not for people who cannot follow the instructions for use or who cannot remove the product themselves.Do not use with other types of heat.Do not use on users under 12 years of age. Do not use on the face/head, breasts, fingers, groin, feet or toes, on the back of the knee or inside of the arm or forearm, or on the lower abdomen.
