Each film-coated tablet of Rheuma-Hek forte contains 600 mg of dry extract of nettle leaves.In addition, the product contains the following ingredients: calcium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, cellactose (consisting of lactose monohydrate and cellulose powder), quinoline yellow aluminum salt, croscarmellose sodium, Eudragit E 100, highly disperse silicon dioxide, indigo carmine aluminum salt, magnesium stearate, stearic acid, talc and titanium dioxide.

Dosage

The recommended dose for adults and adolescents aged 12 and over is one film-coated tablet twice daily.The tablets should be taken morning and evening after meals and washed down with sufficient liquid, preferably a glass of water.The duration of use is not limited and depends on the type, severity and course of the disease.However, the package leaflet or the instructions of the doctor or pharmacist should always be followed.

Contraindications

Rheuma-Hek forte should not be used if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, have severe heart disease or severe kidney disease.Children under 12 years of age should also generally not take the medicine.Its use is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless specifically recommended by the doctor.

Side effects

Possible side effects can include gastrointestinal complaints and skin hypersensitivity reactions such as itching, rash or hives.If you experience any symptoms, you should consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Important notes

Caution is advised if you are allergic to ascorbic acid, certain dyes such as quinoline yellow and indigo carmine, and if you are intolerance to lactose.Patients following a diabetes diet should consider sugar content.

Storage

Rheuma-Hek forte should not be stored above 25 °C and should be kept in the original packaging to protect the contents from moisture and light.Medicines should be kept out of the reach of children.The product must not be used after the expiry date stated on the packaging.
