Directions for use of the article Rheuma-Hek forte 600 mg Film-Coated Tablets Important information (compulsory information): Rheuma-Hek® forte 600 mg film-coated tablets. Active substance: Nettle leaf dry extract. Indications: For the supportive treatment of rheumatic complaints. Warning: Contains lactose. For risks and side effects, read the package leaflet and ask your doctor or pharmacist! Product properties: Rheuma-Hek forte is a herbal medicinal product for muscle or joint pain. It is used for the supportive treatment of rheumatic complaints. Dosage and directions for use: Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as agreed with your doctor or pharmacist. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. The recommended dose is 1 film-coated tablet 2 times a day. Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you think that the effect of Rheuma-Hek forte is too strong or too weak. Take the film-coated tablets in the morning and evening after meals. Drink plenty of water, preferably a glass of water (200 ml), so that the film-coated tablet is easier to swallow. The duration of use is not limited in principle. It depends on the type, severity and course of the disease and should be determined by a doctor. How should Rheuma-Hek forte be kept? Do not store above 25 °C and in the original packaging to protect the contents from moisture and light. Keep medicines out of the reach of children. What Rheuma-Hek forte contains: The active substance is a dry extract of nettle leaves (8-10 : 1); extraction agent: ethanol 50 % (V/V). 1 film-coated tablet contains 600 mg of this dry extract. The other ingredients are: Calcium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, cellactose (spray-dried) consisting of 75 % lactose monohydrate and 25 % cellulose powder, quinoline yellow aluminium salt, croscarmellose sodium, eudragitol E 100, highly dispersed silicon dioxide, indigocarmine aluminium salt, magnesium stearate Ph.Eur. (vegetable), stearic acid Ph.Eur. (vegetable), talcum, titanium dioxide (E 171). Mode of action: The ingredients come from the plant nettle and act as a natural mixture. Stinging nettle inhibits inflammation and relieves pain due to the tannins and fatty acids it contains. It has a mild diuretic effect and is therefore used against goitre in the urinary tract. Important notes: Caution in case of allergy to ascorbic acid (vitamin C), colouring agents (e.g. quinoline yellow with E number E 104) and binding agents (e.g. carboxymethyl cellulose with E number E 466). Caution in case of intolerance to lactose. If you have to follow a diabetic diet, consider the sugar content. Storage: The medicinal product must be kept away from heat, protected from moisture (e. g. e.g. in a tightly closed container) and stored in the dark (e.g. in the outer carton).
