Directions for use of the herbal medicinal product Rheuma-Hek 268 mg Hartkapseln are provided. The medicinal product is used for muscle or joint pain as part of the supportive treatment of rheumatic complaints. It contains nettle leaf dry extract as the active substance. The dosage for adolescents aged 12 years and over and adults is 2 capsules, twice daily after meals. The capsules should be taken with liquid. The duration of use depends on the type, severity and course of the disease. If the symptoms persist for a longer period of time, it is recommended to consult a doctor. Possible side effects may include gastrointestinal complaints, allergic reactions such as itching, skin rash and hives. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should not use the medicine. It is also not recommended for use in children under 12 years of age. Before use, it should be clarified whether there is an allergy to nettle or any of the other ingredients. Interactions with other medicinal products, especially anticoagulants, are possible and should be clarified with the attending physician.
