Active ingredients / ingredients / ingredients

The active ingredients in 100g Linola Fett N oil bath are: 48g thick paraffin, 26.4g hexadecyl (2-ethylhexanoate), 13.2g octadecyl (2-ethylhexanoate), 4.4g isopropyl myristate (Ph.Eur.), 6g α-dodecyl-ω-hydroxypoly (oxyethylene)-2, 1gα-(Dodecyl, tetradecyl)-ω-hydroxypoly(oxyethylene)-4,5-poly(oxypropylene)-5.The other ingredient is: Savannah fragrance (contains eugenol and D-limonene).

Contraindications

Linola Fett N oil bath must not be used if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to the medicinally active ingredients or the other ingredients.If you have a fever, tuberculosis, severe heart and circulatory disorders or high blood pressure, you should generally not take full baths, including those containing this preparation.

Dosage

Linola Fett N Oil Bath is a liquid bath additive for use on the skin.Always use the product exactly as directed.Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.It is used over a total of 4 weeks as a full or partial bath depending on the type and extent of the skin disease.Depending on the type and extent of the skin disease, take baths every 2 - 3 days to which you add the following amounts of the preparation:

Full bath in the bathtub: 30 - 40 ml

Partial bath in the sink or in a bowl: 2 ml

Shower bath: Distribute 20 ml on the moistened body and then shower briefly.

The water temperature when bathing or showering should not exceed 36 °C, as the moisturizing effect decreases at higher temperatures.If itching also occurs, the temperature should be 32°C or as low as tolerated.The bathing time should not exceed 20 minutes.For infants and small children, an application time of just a few minutes is usually sufficient.After bathing or showering, you should only lightly dab the skin with a towel, as vigorous drying and rubbing reduces the therapeutic effect.

Patient information

Particular care is required when using it as the product should not be placed in the eyes as this can cause a burning sensation.The oil film on the skin and on the surface of bathtubs and shower trays increases the risk of slipping.If the oil bath and latex products (e.g. condoms, diaphragms) are used at the same time, the paraffin they contain can lead to a reduction in the functionality and thus an impairment of the safety of these products.There are no special restrictions on use for children or during pregnancy.No special precautions are required when driving or using machines.

Notes

The oil bath should not be brought into the eyes.Increased risk of slipping due to the oil film on the skin and in tubs and showers.The additional use of soaps cancels out the effect of the oil bath.Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the pack or outer packaging.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.
