Fesmed gauze compresses are ready-to-use dressing materials that are specifically designed for general wound care.They are particularly suitable for the initial treatment of dirty, infected and heavily secreting wounds.These compresses protect the wound from external influences such as pressure, foreign bodies and infections.

Product features

Fesmed's gauze compresses are 17-thread and comply with standard DIN EN 14079-VM 17. They are made of 100% cotton and are available in different layers.The designation ES stands for folded cut edges.The compresses are offered both sterile (steam sterilized at 134°C) and non-sterile.

Packaging variants

The non-sterile gauze compresses are available in different packaging variants.This includes 100 pieces in the special folding box, 50 pieces in the special folding box, 10 pieces in ziplock bags and 100 pieces in paper wrapping.

The sterile gauze compresses are sealed in bags made of special paper with a sterilization indicator.Secondary packaging varies depending on the number of layers.For compresses placed 8 times, there are 5 x 2 pieces in the ziplock bag and 25 x 2 pieces in the folding box.For 12-ply and 16-ply compresses, there are 5 x 2 pieces in the ziplock bag.
