Cefabene® ointment is a cosmetic intensive care product to soothe irritated areas of skin.The ointment contains a skin-care extract from the Dulcamara plant, is free of parabens and can also be used on children's skin.No prescription is required for this product.

Bittersweet Nightshade

Cefabene contains a skin-nourishing plant extract made from bittersweet stem.The climbing plant (Solanum Dulcamara L.) has striking purple flowers, shiny red berries and belongs to the nightshade family.It likes to grow near water and is native to large parts of Europe, but also Asia, North America and Africa.Other ingredients such as white petroleum jelly, paraffin and cetostearyl alcohol ensure supple skin.

Which makes irritated skin even more stressful

If possible, avoid strong changes in temperature, exposure to sunlight, extensive bathing, abrasive clothing, drying of the skin and scratching.Spicy food or certain foods if you have allergies can also cause or worsen skin irritations.

Application

To soothe irritated skin areas, gently massage Cefabene into the skin.Apply to the skin several times a day if necessary.Do not apply to eyes, open wounds or mucous membranes.When applied to particularly damaged skin (scratching effects), in rare cases redness and irritation may occur due to the alcohol content.
