Kneipp® Arnica Ointment S is a cream for external use for the consequences of injuries and accidents such as bruises, sprains, bruises, bruises, water accumulation in the tissue as a result of bone fractures, rheumatic muscle and joint problems and inflammation as a result of insect bites.The cream is suitable for adults and adolescents aged 12 and over.

The ointment contains the active ingredient oily extract from arnica flowers, which stimulates blood circulation, has an anti-inflammatory and decongestant effect.The slightly moisturizing cream is well absorbed into the skin and supports the wound healing process.It is ideal for an invigorating massage of stressed and tired legs and at the same time cares for the skin.By gently massaging towards the heart, blood circulation is also stimulated.

Mode of action

The natural active ingredient of arnica flowers in Kneipp® Arnica Ointment S promotes blood circulation, inhibits inflammation and has a decongestant effect.At the same time, the ointment supports the wound healing process by pampering the skin with high-quality, slightly moisturizing substances.

Ingredients of Kneipp® Arnica Ointment S: 100 g cream contains active ingredient: oily extract from arnica flowers (1:3.5-4.5) 10.0 g (extract agent: refined sunflower oil, contains antioxidants (tocopherols)).Other ingredients: Deoiled phospholipids from soybeans, emulsifying cetylstearyl alcohol (Ph.Eur., Type A), glycerol monooleate, glycerol 85%, purified water, cetyl alcohol (Ph.Eur.), stearic acid (Ph.Eur.), benzyl alcohol.The ointment contains benzyl alcohol, cetostearyl alcohol/cetyl alcohol and deoiled phospholipids from soybeans.

Contraindications

If you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients mentioned above, especially arnica and other composite plants as well as peanuts and soy, the product should not be used.The product may cause localized skin irritation.

Dosage

Apply Kneipp® Arnica Ointment S to the skin several times a day with a light stroking massage.In the case of acute inflammation, do not massage in, but use a cream compress with a knife-thick cream application.When applied, a white film may initially form, which disappears with further rubbing.

Intake

The ointment is applied to the skin with a light stroking massage.

Patient information

If symptoms persist for longer than 1-2 weeks, are unclear or new, a doctor should be consulted.Rheumatic muscle and joint problems: If you experience new joint problems, especially if there is simultaneous swelling, redness, overheating or fever, or if the symptoms persist, you should consult a doctor.Inflammation as a result of insect bites: If during treatment the signs of inflammation such as pain, redness and swelling increase, a red stripe appears on the skin in the area around the bite or fever, a doctor should be consulted.Immediate medical attention is necessary if you are bitten in the mouth, if the symptoms increase rapidly, or if symptoms occur in parts of the body that are distant from the puncture site.

The ointment should not be applied around the eyes.Contact of the cream with eyes and mucous membranes as well as open wounds should be avoided.If the cream is accidentally placed in the eye, it can easily be rinsed out with water.

Cetylstearyl alcohol / cetyl alcohol can cause localized skin irritation.Use is not recommended in children under 12 years of age as there is insufficient information for safe use in this age group.

No studies on the ability to drive and use machines have been carried out.However, no special precautions are required.

Pregnancy

There are no adequate data to assess safety during pregnancy, therefore use during pregnancy is not recommended.If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine. It should not be used in the breast area during breastfeeding.

Notes

Avoid getting Kneipp® Arnica Ointment S in your eyes.The ointment should also not come into contact with mucous membranes and open wounds.The ointment contains benzyl alcohol, cetostearyl alcohol/cetyl alcohol and deoiled phospholipids from soybeans.

Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the pack or outer packaging.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.
