Instructions for use for ACETOLYT Granules, 300 g

Acetolyt Granulat is a medicinal product for influencing the acid-base ratio. It is used for the treatment of metabolic hyperacidity of the blood (metabolic acidosis) and for maintenance therapy to prevent recurrence of metabolic acidosis in adults. If the blood pH is below 7.2, intensive medical measures must be initiated by the doctor to correct the acidosis. The recommended dosage at the beginning of therapy is 2 to a maximum of 3 times 2 doses of the medicinal product daily. For maintenance therapy, 2 times 1 dose daily is sufficient. The duration of use is determined by the doctor. The medicinal product must not be taken if you are allergic to the active substance, suffer from metabolic alkalisation of the blood or have an elevated serum calcium level.
