Ingredients and composition

Carotene Mega + Selenium capsules are a dietary supplement that contains a combination of beta-carotene, vitamin C, vitamin E and selenium.The capsules consist of various ingredients, including vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid), soybean oil, gelatin, selenium (selenium yeast), coconut oil, humectants such as glycerin and sorbitol, as well as a carotenoid preparation that contains olive oil and naturally mixed carotenoids from algae.It also contains vitamin E (RRR-α-tocopherol), palm kernel oil, stabilizers such as yellow beeswax, emulsifiers such as soy lecithin and colorants such as iron oxides and hydroxides.

The recommended daily dose of one capsule contains 11 mg of mixed natural carotenoids, of which 10 mg is natural beta-carotene, which corresponds to 1,667 μg of vitamin A.It also contains 160 mg of vitamin C, 12 mg of natural vitamin E (α-TE) and 100 μg of selenium.These amounts correspond to 208% of the recommended daily intake for vitamin A, 200% for vitamin C, 100% for vitamin E and 182% for selenium, based on the reference amounts according to the EU-Food Information Regulation.
