Directions for use of Oculoheel Eye Drops ad us. vet. single dose container: Oculoheel eye drops ad us. vet. are registered homeopathic eye drops for various animal species including horses, cattle, pigs, sheep, goats, dogs, cats and pets. No specific therapeutic indication is given, so a veterinary examination should be made before use. The dosage consists of 1-3 drops in the lower conjunctival sac, 1 to 3 times daily until symptoms subside. For acute symptoms, the dose may be repeated hourly initially up to 6 times daily. The medicine does not contain any known side effects. If there is an initial exacerbation of the existing symptoms, the medicine should be discontinued and a veterinarian consulted. If side effects occur that are not listed in the package leaflet, they should be reported to the veterinarian or pharmacist. There is no specific withdrawal period for edible tissues and milk of horses, cattle, sheep and goats. The product should be kept out of reach of children and stored at temperatures below 25 °C. After opening the single-dose container, the medicinal product is stable for 6 months. There are no special warnings for use in animals, except that the product should only be used on uninjured corneas. In case of hypersensitivity to corms, the product should be used with caution. The medicinal product may only be used during pregnancy and lactation after consultation with a veterinarian. It should not be used simultaneously with glucocorticoids. The ingredients of the eye drops include Cochlearia officinalis Dil. D5, Echinacea Dil. D5, Euphrasia Dil. D5 and Pilocarpus Dil. D5. In addition, sodium chloride, sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate and sodium monohydrogen phosphate dihydrate are included. The product is offered in single-dose containers of 0.45 ml.
