Tannolact® Lotio - Gentle and wound healing

Tannolact® Lotio offers an effective treatment for weeping skin areas that dry permanently and relieve painful itching.The lotion cools the inflamed skin and supports wound healing thanks to the active ingredient Tamol® PP and the excipient zinc oxide.The cooling effect is particularly pleasant for babies' sensitive skin.

The lotion is suitable for use in acute skin diseases that are associated with inflammation, weeping and itching.It is particularly suitable for sore spots on baby's bottom and skin inflammation in the diaper area (diaper rash).The lotion can also be used successfully on areas of skin that rub against each other, such as in the armpits, in the anal and genital areas, under the breasts or on the thighs.

Area of application

Tannolact® Lotio is a tannin preparation with anti-inflammatory and itching-relieving effects.It is used exclusively for external use on the skin.The lotion is used to treat acute inflammatory, weeping and itchy superficial skin diseases, especially in skin folds such as the armpits, genito-anal area, under the breast, between the thighs, the fingers and toes.

Areas of application include skin inflammation in the diaper area (diaper dermatitis) in infants and small children, the local treatment of itchy skin rashes such as chickenpox and increased sweating (hyperhidrosis).

1 g of lotion contains 10 mg of phenolsulfonic acid-phenol-urea-formaldehyde condensate, sodium salt as active ingredient.The excipients include calcium dilactate 5-water, glycerol 85%, laureth-23, propylene glycol, silicon dioxide, highly disperse, stearyl nonanoate, talc, purified water and zinc oxide.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be used if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to the synthetic tannin or any of the other ingredients of the medicine.It must not be used on the eyes.

Dosage

Always use the medicine exactly as directed.Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the usual dose is to apply the lotion to the affected skin areas once or twice a day.If necessary, more frequent use is possible.

The duration of use should last until the inflammatory skin symptoms such as itching, burning and redness have subsided.As a rule, an application period of 1-2 weeks is sufficient.If the symptoms have not improved after 14 days of regular use or if symptoms recur after treatment has been completed, you should consult a doctor.When treating increased sweating, the medicine can be used for a few weeks without consulting a doctor.

Intake

Before use, shake the bottle vigorously and apply the lotion thinly to the affected skin areas.

Patient information

Particular care is required when using it as the synthetic tanning agent is eye-irritating.Avoid eye contact by taking appropriate precautions.If you come into contact with Tannolact Lotio, immediately rinse your eyes under running water for approx. 10 minutes and then consult an ophthalmologist.

No special precautions are required that affect the ability to drive or use machines.

Before using any medicines, ask your doctor or pharmacy for advice.The medicine can also be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Notes

Contains propylene glycol (E 1520).Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the pack or outer packaging.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.
