Instructions for use for TANNOLACT Cream, 50 g

Tannolact cream has an anti-inflammatory and antipruritic effect and is used for the supportive treatment of skin disorders associated with redness, oozing and itching. It contains the active ingredient phenol methanal urea polycondensate, sulfonated, sodium salt, which acts as a synthetic tanning agent. Side effects are rare and may include mild skin reactions such as skin irritation and contact dermatitis. The medicine should be applied thinly to the affected areas of the skin and should not get into the eyes or on mucous membranes. It should be used until the symptoms have subsided, but not for longer than three weeks. Pregnant and breastfeeding women can use the medicine without hesitation. However, people with hypersensitivity to the ingredients or newborn babies in the first four weeks of life should not use the medicine. Medical advice should be sought before use if other medicines are being taken or used. The medicine should be stored away from heat and used within six months after opening.
