Instructions for use for TANNOLACT Cream, 20 g

Tannolact cream with the active substance phenol methanal urea polycondensate, sulfonated, sodium salt is a medicinal product for application to the skin. It is used for inflammatory skin conditions associated with redness, oozing and itching. The cream contains sorbic acid, butylated hydroxyanisole, cetylstearyl alcohol and propylene glycol and should not be used on the eye. Important information on risks and side effects as well as on storage is given in the package leaflet. The dosage and instructions for use recommend a thin application to the diseased skin areas, 3 times daily. Special caution is advised when applying to the face and when using latex products at the same time. The duration of application depends on the nature of the complaints and is usually 3 weeks. Side effects are usually rare and mild, but skin reactions may occur. The medicine may be used for a maximum of 6 months after opening and should be stored away from heat. It is available without prescription.
