They are particularly suitable for flat nipples, inverted nipples, cleft nipples or other special nipple shapes. The nursing cap has a tulip shape that allows intensive skin contact. The baby can easily grasp the shaft of the nursing cap and the soft tip stimulates the sucking reflex in the oral cavity. The Ardo Tulips nursing caps can also help if you have difficulty latching your baby on properly or if your nipples hurt. However, please talk to a breastfeeding counsellor before using the nursing shields to avoid suction confusion. The nursing caps are made of thin and soft silicone that is odourless and tasteless.
