Directions for use of the article Weleda Arnica Gelee Important information: - Weleda Arnica Jelly is an anthroposophical medicinal product used for disorders of the musculoskeletal and vascular systems. - Indications are the stimulation and harmonisation of metabolic and form processes in tissue and organ damage, especially after mechanical effects and in disorders of the blood supply as well as blunt injuries such as strains, bruises, contusions and haematomas. - The medicinal product is applied externally and can be obtained without a doctor's prescription. - The dosage is a sufficient amount applied to the affected areas of the skin 3-5 times a day. - It is important not to apply the medicine to open wounds and to wash the hands thoroughly after application. - The duration of treatment is a maximum of 2 weeks for acute diseases. If there is no improvement within 2-5 days, a doctor should be consulted. - Possible side effects are skin reactions such as itching, skin inflammation and blisters. In such cases, the medicine should be discontinued and a doctor consulted. - Interactions with other medicinal products are not known. - Weleda Arnica Jelly should not be used on open wounds and in cases of hypersensitivity to arnica or other composite plants. - In pregnancy and lactation, medical advice should be sought before use. - The medicinal product should be stored away from heat.
