Urea acis 12% cream is a urea-containing cream for the treatment of dry skin in cases of neurodermatitis or aged skin. It can be applied to the whole body and should be applied to the affected skin areas once or several times a day. The duration of application depends on the clinical findings. The medicinal product must not be used in cases of hypersensitivity to the ingredients, excoriated skin or acute skin inflammations. During pregnancy and lactation, a doctor should be consulted before use. Only a few side effects are known, which may occur mainly in the case of an overdose. The cream contains 120 mg urea and other excipients. It should be noted that caution is advised in children and in contact with the eyes or mucous membranes.
