Information for use of the medicinal product "Ketotifen Stulln UD, 0.25 mg/ml eye drops": Ketotifen Stulln UD eye drops contain the active substance ketotifen and are used to treat seasonal allergic conjunctivitis (itchy, watery, red or swollen eyes and/or eyelids). The recommended dosage is one drop in the affected eye twice a day (morning and evening). The drops should be placed in the conjunctival sac of the eye while the head is leaned back. After dropping, the eye should be slowly closed and light pressure applied to the tear duct between the nose and the inner eyelid. Overdosage is not known to occur. In case of forgotten application, the next regular dose should be taken without using the double amount. The medicine must not be used in case of hypersensitivity to the ingredients and in children under 3 years of age. Consult a doctor during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Possible side effects are irritation of the eye, headache, drowsiness, dry mouth, skin rash, eczema and hives. It should be stored away from heat and in the dark. The medicinal product is intended for single use only after opening and must be used within one hour.
