Directions for use of the article Ketotifen Stulln UD, 0.25 mg/ml eye drops: - The eye drops contain the active substance ketotifen and are used to treat seasonal allergic conjunctivitis. - The recommended dose for adults, elderly people and children aged 3 years and over is one drop in each affected eye twice daily. - The drops are applied by opening the single-dose container and should then remain in the eye. - Accidental ingestion or application of a larger amount is safe. - If application is forgotten, the drops should be made up as soon as possible, but not in double quantity. - Store away from heat and in the dark. - The medicine must not be used if there is hypersensitivity to the ingredients. - Possible side effects are irritation of the eye, headache, drowsiness, dry mouth, skin rash and eczema. - During use, care should be taken to ensure adequate dosage in infants, young children and the elderly. - The duration of use is not limited. - Further information on use, roadworthiness and possible interactions can be found in the package leaflet.
