Chelidonium D1 is a homeopathic medicine from the anthroposophical therapy direction.It is a registered homeopathic remedy and is therefore used without specifying a therapeutic indication.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The active ingredient in Chelidonium D1 is Chelidonium Dil.D1.The liquid dilution contains 1 ml of Chelidonium majus (homeopathic/anthroposophical) and ethanol as an excipient.The medicine contains 69% alcohol by volume.

Contraindications

Chelidonium D1 must not be used if you suffer from liver disease or have previously had liver disease, if you are also using medicines with liver-damaging properties or if you are pregnant or breast-feeding.

Precautions for use

If signs of liver damage occur, such as yellowing of the skin or eyes, dark urine, discolored stools, pain in the upper abdomen, nausea, loss of appetite or fatigue, you should stop taking Chelidonium immediately and consult a doctor.

Interactions with other medicines

To date, there are no known interactions with other medications.

Type of application

Any clouding of the liquid is irrelevant to effectiveness and tolerability.To ensure even distribution when dispensing, the bottle should be shaken before use.

Duration of application

If symptoms persist, a doctor should be consulted.If Chelidonium D1 is used for more than 4 weeks, liver function tests (transaminases) should be checked.

Side effects

When using medicines that contain celandine (Chelidonium), cases of liver damage such as increases in liver enzyme levels and bilirubin up to drug-related jaundice (drug-toxic hepatitis) and cases of liver failure have occurred.Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you notice any side effects.

Do not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the label.Keep the medicine out of the reach of children.
