Directions for use of the article Hepatos Milk Thistle Lozenges: This medicine is used for the supportive treatment of chronic inflammatory liver disease, cirrhosis of the liver and toxic liver damage. It contains milk thistle fruit dry extract with a content of 83.3 mg silymarin. The dosage for adults is 1 tablet 3-4 times a day after meals. The duration of use should be determined by the attending physician. An overdose may lead to increased side effects, therefore a doctor should be consulted in case of suspicion. The medicinal product is not suitable for the treatment of acute poisoning. Side effects may include gastrointestinal complaints and hypersensitivity reactions of the skin.
