Cystinol long® capsules are a herbal medicinal product for the irrigation of the urinary tract. They are used for irrigation in inflammatory diseases of the urinary tract, for urinary stones and kidney gravel and for preventive treatment of urinary stones and kidney gravel. The usual dosage is 1 hard capsule 3-4 times a day for children 12 years and older and adults. The capsules should be taken with plenty of liquid after meals. The recommended daily drinking amount is 1.5 to 2 litres, provided there is no heart or circulatory disease. The duration of use should be discussed with a doctor. A doctor or pharmacist should also be consulted if there are any concerns about the effect of the medicine. The medicinal product should be kept away from heat and inaccessible to children. The medicinal product must not be used in the case of known allergies or oedema due to impaired heart or kidney activity.
