Information for use of the article FEMALAC Bacteria Blocker sachet: FEMALAC® Bacteria Blocker is used to support the treatment of urinary infections in the bladder caused by E. coli bacteria and to protect against recurrent urinary tract infections (bladder infections or cystitis). Symptoms of a bladder infection include a burning or painful sensation when urinating, urge to urinate, frequent bladder emptying and abdominal pain. The recommended dosage for adults aged 18 years and over is 1 sachet once a day for prevention and 1 sachet twice a day for treatment support. The contents of the sachet should be put into a glass, filled with 200 ml of water and stirred. Afterwards, you should drink it all immediately. The recommended dosage should not be exceeded. FEMALAC® Bacteria blocker may be taken for a maximum of 30 days within a treatment period. After a 4-day break, treatment can be resumed. The product should be stored at room temperature (10 °C - 25 °C) in a dry, dark place in the original packaging and must be kept out of the reach of small children. D-mannose attaches to E. coli bacteria and flushes them out of the body with the urine. The lactobacilli support a healthy vaginal flora. The product is well tolerated. Rarely, side effects such as diarrhoea may occur. The product should not be used in case of known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.
