Area of application
Gallith capsules are traditionally used in adults to relieve mild gallbladder problems such as bloating and flatulence due to known gallstones that do not require surgery.This herbal medicine is registered for this area of application due to many years of use.No prescription is required for this product.
Active ingredients and ingredients
Gallith capsules contain a purified extract of gundel vine herb in a ratio of 2:1 as a medicinally effective ingredient.The other ingredients include gelatin, refined sunflower oil, glycerol 85%, titanium dioxide (E171), iron hydroxide oxide x H2O (E172), iron oxide (E172) and iron oxides and hydroxides (E172).
Contraindications
If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients mentioned, the product should not be used.In addition, Gallith must not be taken if there is inflammation of the gallbladder and bile ducts, biliary colic or obstruction of the bile ducts.If you are known to have gallstone disease, you should only use it after consulting a doctor.
Dosage and intake
Adults can take one to two soft capsules three times daily.The capsules should be taken whole with sufficient liquid, preferably half a glass of drinking water, after a meal.It is not intended for use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age.Gallith should not be used for longer than four weeks.
Patient information
Particular caution is required if symptoms persist for more than a week or worsen, yellowing of the skin, mucous membranes or conjunctiva of the eyes is noted, or signs of inflammation such as fever occur.In these cases, a doctor should be consulted.No special precautions are required when driving or using machines.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
The safety during pregnancy and breastfeeding has not been adequately studied.Therefore, taking Gallith is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women.
