Description

Systral Hydrocort 0.5% cream is a moisturizing and moisturizing cream that is used for inflammatory and allergic skin diseases with minor symptoms.It helps with itching, dandruff and burning and can also be used for sunburn and insect bites.The cream is intended for short-term use on the skin and may be used for a maximum of two weeks.

Mode of action

The active ingredient hydrocortisone in Systral Hydrocort 0.5% cream is a natural endogenous hormone that has an anti-inflammatory effect and suppresses unwanted immunological processes.Due to the low dosage, it is one of the mild cortisones and still has a reliable effect.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The active ingredient in Systral Hydrocort 0.5% cream is hydrocortisone.One gram of the cream contains five milligrams of hydrocortisone.Other ingredients include stearic acid, propylene glycol, sorbitan stearate, polysorbate, octyldodecanol, hard fat and purified water.

Contraindications

Systral Hydrocort 0.5% cream must not be used if you are hypersensitive to hydrocortisone or any of the other ingredients.Its use is also prohibited in cases of chickenpox, vaccination reactions, syphilitic or tuberculous skin diseases, simultaneous skin infections caused by bacteria or fungi, certain skin inflammations in the area of the mouth or face and during the first trimester of pregnancy.

Dosage and application

Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, Systral Hydrocort 0.5% cream is applied thinly to the affected areas two to three times a day and rubbed in gently.Once improvement has occurred, one application per day or every two to three days is usually enough.Even after the symptoms have subsided, the cream should be used for a few days to avoid a flare-up.When using it on the face, make sure that the cream does not get into the eyes.

No prescription is required for this product.Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using the cream.Children up to the age of 6 may only be treated as prescribed by a doctor.A treatment period of more than two weeks may only take place with medical supervision.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

The cream must not be used during the first trimester of pregnancy.In later stages of pregnancy, the cream may only be used after a careful risk-benefit assessment by the treating doctor.The active ingredient contained in the cream passes into breast milk.If you use it over a large area or for a longer period of time, you should stop breastfeeding.Contact of the infant with the treated skin areas should be avoided.

Notes

Systral Hydrocort 0.5% cream must not be used on or in the eyes.Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the pack or outer packaging.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.
