Hydrocortisone-ratiopharm 0.5% cream is used for the external treatment of inflammatory and allergic skin diseases with minor symptoms. The cream contains the active ingredient hydrocortisone, which relieves itching, reduces swelling and redness and cares for inflamed skin. It is well tolerated, effective and has a broad spectrum of action. The cream is applied thinly to the affected skin areas and should be used two to three times a day. The dosage can be reduced after the symptoms have improved. Use in children under 6 years of age and during pregnancy requires medical consultation. Possible side effects are rare.
