Instructions for use of the article PRO Ophta Perforated Compresses Non-sterile: - The Pro-ophta Perforated Eye Compress is used to protect the eye from mechanical irritation after intraocular procedures. It is applied under a perforated eye shield to preserve natural eyelid function and to supply the eye with air. - The eyehole dressing is particularly suitable for care after cataract surgery, eyelid surgery and injuries to the external eye. - It is velvety soft, low linting, absorbent and provides good cushioning for the eye area. - It is applied under a transparent eyehole disc, allowing the patient to make initial visual attempts at an early stage. - The compress is made of soft non-woven fabric (67 % viscose, 33 % polyester) and is stitched together in 16 layers.
