Tea tree oil is a high-quality essential oil obtained from the leaves of Melaleuca alternifolia, a plant in the myrtle family native to Australia.The oil is extracted by steam distillation.Tebamol tea tree oil in T.T.O. quality meets the strict Australian ISO/DIS Standard 4730 and is laboratory tested for purity, 100% natural, with a cineole content of approximately 4% and a minimum terpinen-4-ol content of 35%.

Possible applications

Tea tree oil has a variety of uses.It is important to note that tea tree oil should not be used undiluted and should only be used externally.

For impure skin, 2 to 3 drops of tea tree oil can be dissolved in a quarter glass of water (approx. 50 ml) and applied to the affected skin areas with a cotton ball.

A suitable bath additive is a mixture of 5 to 10 drops of tea tree oil and 1 to 2 drops of olive oil, which can be added to a care bath (approx. 140 l) once or twice a week.

For sports massages, 3 to 5 drops of tea tree oil can be mixed into around 100 ml of massage oil and then applied to the skin.

For oral hygiene and fresh breath, 1 to 2 drops of tea tree oil can be dissolved in half a glass of lukewarm water (approx. 100 ml), used to rinse your mouth and then spit out.

To protect against mosquitoes, ants and other insects, a few drops of tea tree oil can be placed in a bowl of warm water or in an aroma lamp near the window.Additionally, a mixture of tea tree oil and massage oil can be applied to exposed skin areas.
