Formasan drops is a homeopathic medicine used as a mixture of liquid dilutions. It contains the active substance Acidum formicicum. The medicinal product is registered and has no specific therapeutic indication. It is recommended to take the medicine every 30 minutes up to a maximum of 12 times a day for acute conditions. In chronic courses, it is recommended to take 1-3 times a day. The medicinal product should not be used in people suffering from alcoholism or liver disease, unless this is done after consultation with a doctor. There is insufficient documented experience of use during pregnancy and lactation, so the medicine should only be used after consultation with a doctor. It should also not be used in children under 12 years of age. The medicinal product contains 50.6% alcohol (ethanol) by volume. There are no known side effects.
