Cutimed Siltec is a highly absorbent foam dressing for the effective treatment of chronic wounds with weak to moderately heavy exudate. The dressing consists of a 5 mm thick polyurethane foam with a soft-adherent silicone film. It allows vertical absorption of wound exudate and supports exudate management through high water vapour permeability. The silicone film is gentle on the wound surrounding skin and enables atraumatic dressing changes. Cutimed Siltec can be used for heavily stressed skin and parchment/cortisone skin. Areas of application include leg ulcers, diabetic ulcerations, decubitus ulcers and secondary healing wounds such as postoperative wound healing disorders and skin grafts.
