Summary: Cutimed Sorbact absorbent dressings are antimicrobial wound dressings for infection control. The dressing acts purely physically by binding and inactivating germs through hydrophobic interaction. The coating with DACC enables this effect without using chemical substances. Cutimed Sorbact does not cause germs to develop resistance, delay healing or cause allergic reactions. It is suitable for unclean, contaminated or infected wounds of various types, such as chronic wounds, postoperative wounds, traumatic wounds and wounds after excision of fistulas and abscesses.
