Cutimed Sorbact is an innovative wound dressing that fights infections in a particularly safe and efficient way - purely physically.Cutimed Sorbact binds germs according to the principle of hydrophobic interaction and does not require the use of chemical antimicrobial substances: The special Sorbact coating gives the product strong hydrophobic (water-repellent) properties.Many pathogenic bacteria and fungi are naturally hydrophobic and therefore bind to the Sorbact tissue.With every dressing change, the number of germs in the wound is reduced and optimal conditions are created for the natural wound healing process.

Cutimed Sorbact consists of acetate or cotton fabric fibers, which offer effective infection management thanks to a bacteria-binding coating.The formula is latex-free and is not made with natural rubber latex.
