Cutimed Sorbact is an advanced wound dressing that physically fights infections in a safe and effective manner.The dressing binds germs through hydrophobic interaction without using chemical antimicrobial substances.The special Sorbact coating gives the product strong water-repellent properties.Many harmful bacteria and fungi are naturally hydrophobic and therefore adhere to Sorbact tissue.This reduces the number of germs in the wound every time the dressing is changed, which creates optimal conditions for natural wound healing.

Cutimed Sorbact is made from acetate or cotton fabric fibers with a bacteria-binding coating that allows for effective infection management.The formula is latex-free and is not made with natural rubber latex.

Change of dressing

The dressing change depends on the amount of exudate and the overall condition of the wound and the wound surroundings and can take up to 7 days if the clinical condition allows it.
