Instructions for use of the article Cutimed Sorbact Compresses 4x6 cm Cutimed Sorbact is an advanced wound dressing that fights infections safely and efficiently. It binds and inactivates germs purely physically through a hydrophobic interaction. Cutimed Sorbact contains no chemical substances and has no resistance-developing mechanisms. As a result, there is no delay in healing due to dead bacteria, cell debris or endotoxins. The dressing has no cytotoxic side effects and no known allergy risks. Cutimed Sorbact is made of acetate or cotton fabric fibres and is suitable for antimicrobial wound therapy. It can be used for all unclean, contaminated or infected wounds, including chronic wounds, post-operative wounds, traumatic wounds and wounds following excision of fistulas and abscesses.
