Instructions for use of the article Suprasorb A Calcium alginate dressings 5x5 cm: Suprasorb A is a dressing for the treatment of heavily exuding wounds. The dressings contain calcium alginate from natural brown algae, which enables high exudate absorption and rapid gel formation. Exudate, bacteria and tissue debris are removed during dressing changes. Suprasorb A is particularly soft and easy to tamponade. It is suitable for superficial and deep wounds in the exudation and granulation phase, such as pressure ulcers, arterial ulcers, venous leg ulcers, diabetic ulcers and split skin sites.
