Product features

These gauze compresses are either 8-ply or 12-ply and are made of 17-thread cotton gauze.They comply with the standards DIN EN 14079 - VM17 and Ph.Eur.The compresses have a folded cut edge, which means there are no marginal threads, and do not contain any X-ray contrast thread.They are characterized by their high absorbency, softness and air permeability.The gauze compresses are available in both sterile and non-sterile versions.The sterile compresses are treated by steam sterilization at 134°C.

Application

Gauze compresses are widely used in general wound care.They are used as a carrier for ointments, to cover wounds and to clean wounds.
