Instructions for use for PARACETAMOL AL 1,000 suppositories, 10 pcs

Paracetamol AL 1,000 Suppositories are a medicine for the treatment of mild to moderate pain and/or fever in children aged 12 years and over, adolescents and adults. The dosage depends on the patient's body weight and age. The recommended dosage is usually between 10 and 15 mg paracetamol per kg body weight as a single dose, up to a maximum daily dose of 60 mg/kg body weight. The suppositories should be applied at intervals of 6 hours and should not exceed the maximum daily dose of 4000 mg paracetamol. If symptoms persist for more than 3 days, a doctor should be consulted. The medicine must not be used in cases of hypersensitivity to the ingredients, severe impairment of liver function and in children under 12 years of age or under 43 kg body weight. It should be used with caution in cases of liver or kidney dysfunction and Gilbert's syndrome. The suppositories should be inserted deeply into the anus after defecation. Use beyond 3 days is recommended only after medical or dental advice. The medicine should be kept away from heat and out of reach of children. Further information can be found in the package leaflet.
