GlucoCheck XL is a user-friendly blood glucose meter that requires no coding and only a small blood sample of about 0.5 µl. It has a large LCD-display with backlight, extra large test strips and convenient one-button operation. The measurement result is displayed within 5 seconds and the device has a large memory of 1000 memory locations with time and date. The meter is calibrated in the unit mg/dL and has a measuring range of 20 to 600 mg/dL. It has a size of 96 x 61 x 26 mm and weighs 67.2 grams including batteries. The device has automatic test strip detection, an automatic countdown during measurement and automatically switches off after 3 minutes of inactivity. There is also a ketone warning.
