GlucoCheck Gold is an innovative blood glucose meter that offers a wide range of functions. It has a haematocrit range of 0-70% and can be easily connected to a USB or the DIAmant app via Bluetooth or PC . The device has a LCD-backlit display, 1,000 memory locations and requires only 5 seconds of measurement time with a blood volume of only 0.5 µl. It automatically detects control solution measurements and offers several adjustable measurement modes. The GlucoCheck Gold set includes the meter itself, 10 test strips, a lancing device, 10 universal lancets, a user manual, a quick start guide, a meter case, a warranty card and a diary. It works in both mg/dl and mmol/l and is plasma calibrated. The meter measures 90.3 x 52.3 x 18 mm and weighs 60 g (including batteries). It operates in a temperature range of 8-45 °C and has an external data interface via USB and Bluetooth. It also has various automatic functions such as test strip and sample recognition, a countdown during measurement and an automatic switch-off after 3 minutes of non-use. The device complies with DIN EN ISO 15197:2015 and offers a wide haematocrit range of 0-70%. It includes 1,000 memory locations, a HCT-correction and average values for different time intervals. It can be connected to a special app via Bluetooth and does not require manual coding. The batteries are 2x 1.5 V AAA alkaline.
