GlucoCheck Gold blood glucose test strips are only compatible with the GlucoCheck Gold measuring system and are suitable for determining the glucose concentration in capillary blood. If required, professionals could also determine the glucose value from arterial, capillary and venous blood. The new GlucoCheck Gold test strips have been specially developed for the GlucoCheck Gold and offer high measurement accuracy thanks to the innovative 2+2 technology. Only a small amount of 0.5 µl of blood is needed for analysis and the measurement results are available after only 5 seconds. Coding is not required. The measurement range is from 10 to 800 mg/dl (0.55 to 44.44 mmol/l) and the system is adjustable for measurement in mg/dl or mmol/l. The test strips can be stored at temperatures between 2 and 30 °C (35.6 and 86 °F). The manufacturer of the GlucoCheck Gold blood glucose test strips is Aktivmed GmbH, based in Rheine.
