The GlucoCheck XL blood glucose meter measures blood sugar in the units mg/dl or mmol/l.The measuring range is between 20 and 600 mg/dl (1.1 to 33.3 mmol/l).The device is plasma calibrated and measures 96 (L) x 61 (W) x 26 (H) mm and weighs 67.2 g including batteries.The measurement conditions are between 10 and 40°C (50 - 104°F), while the test strips should be stored at 2 to 30°C (35.6 - 86°F).The hematocrit range is 35 to 60%.The device is powered by two 1.5 V AAA alkaline batteries and has automatic test strip recognition and an automatic count-down function during measurement.After 3 minutes of non-use, the device switches off automatically.There is also a ketone warning.

The GlucoCheck XL blood glucose meter is available in two measuring systems: one for mg/dl and one for mmol/l.The test strips are available in packs of 25 or 50 pieces.
