Top-Sabona is a purely herbal medicine that consists of various plant extracts and essential oils.The cream is used externally to support the treatment of rheumatic complaints and muscle pain, for example as a result of sports injuries, muscle strains or sore muscles.

10 g of cream contains 0.625 g of peppermint oil, 0.625 g of eucalyptus oil and 0.40 g of rosemary oil.The other ingredients are medium chain triglycerides, hard fat, glycerol (dihydrogen citrate) stearate, glycerol mono/disease fatty acid ester, cetyl palmitate, xanthan gum, bleached wax, octyldodecanol and purified water.

Application

The cream is applied evenly to the affected areas 3-5 times a day for adults and adolescents over 12 years of age.Then massage the cream in well.

Dosage

Always use the product exactly as described or exactly as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure.

Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is: Adults apply the cream evenly to the affected areas 3 to 5 times a day using an approx. 6 cm long strand of cream.Adolescents aged 12 and over apply the cream evenly to the affected areas 3 times a day using an approx. 6 cm long strand of cream.Then massage the cream in well.

The treating doctor decides on the duration of use.The continuous application period should not exceed 1 year.

If you have used a larger amount than you should: If large amounts of the medicine are accidentally taken (swallowed) - especially by children - significant symptoms (e.g. vomiting, stomach pain, drowsiness, shortness of breath) can occur.In this case, even if no symptoms are noticeable, you should contact your doctor.In such a case, milk or alcohol should not be drunk as these can promote the absorption of the active ingredients of this medicine into the blood.

If you forget to use: Do not use a double dose if you forget the previous dose.

Contraindications

The pain cream must not be used if you are allergic to peppermint oil, eucalyptus oil, rosemary oil or any of the other ingredients of the medicine.It must not be used during breastfeeding, if the skin is damaged (e.g. injuries, burns), for skin and childhood diseases with exanthema, for bronchial asthma, whooping cough, pseudocroup and other respiratory diseases that are associated with pronounced hypersensitivity of the airways.Inhalation of this medicine may cause shortness of breath or trigger an asthma attack.The cream must not be used in infants and small children under 30 months (risk of laryngeal spasm) and in children with seizure disorders (with and without fever).

Patient information
