Directions for use of Pollstimol: Pollstimol is a herbal medicinal product for the treatment of prostate disorders. It is used for micturition problems in benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) stage I-II according to Alken or II-III according to Vahlensieck and in chronic abacterial prostatitis. The medicinal product contains grass pollen extracts of rye, Timothy grass and maize, which are supposed to have an anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic effect. The recommended dosage is 2 hard capsules 2-3 times daily for micturition problems and 2 hard capsules 3 times daily for chronic abacterial prostatitis. Pollstimol should be taken with sufficient liquid at mealtimes. The duration of use is not limited in time and should be at least 3 months. Side effects may include gastrointestinal complaints. The medicine must not be taken if there is hypersensitivity to grass pollen or any of the other ingredients. Pregnant and breastfeeding women as well as children and adolescents under 18 years of age should not use the medicine. Pollstimol hard capsules come in a pack of 60.
