Summary: Asparagus-P film-coated tablets are a traditional herbal medicine used to support the excretory function of the kidney. They contain asparagus rootstock powder and parsley herb powder as active ingredients. The usual dose for adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over is 4 film-coated tablets 3 times a day, but may be adjusted to 2 film-coated tablets 3 times a day if necessary. The film-coated tablets should be taken before meals with 1-2 glasses of water. The duration of use is usually 2 to 4 weeks. The medicine must not be taken in the case of inflammation of the kidneys, water retention (oedema) in the case of heart and kidney weakness and in the case of hypersensitivity to the ingredients. During pregnancy, prior consultation with the doctor is required. No special precautions should be taken. Side effects are rare and usually not serious.
