This rose is cultivated in Turkey, Morocco, Bulgaria, India, Persia and Russia. The typical form of Rosa damascena is slightly climbing rose-like with slightly nodding pink flowers. The essential oil of the rose is obtained by distillation and can be used for aroma care in cosmetics. It is recommended to mix a maximum of 15 drops with 50 ml of almond oil. The oil is conventionally cultivated and meets the quality criteria for NATRUE natural cosmetics with organic content. The ingredients of the oil consist of 10% Turkish rose and 90% spirit of wine.
