Calendumed Gel is a homeopathic medicine used to treat skin diseases.It is particularly suitable for relieving skin burns, such as those caused by sunburn or touching hot objects.The active ingredients of marigold (Calendula officinalis) in the gel help to reduce redness, feelings of tension and pain.
Active ingredients and ingredients
Calendumed Gel contains calendula mother tincture as the active ingredient.The other ingredients are benzyl alcohol, carbomer 980, sodium hydroxide solution 32% and purified water.These ingredients help to optimally apply and distribute the active ingredients onto the skin.
Contraindications
The gel should not be used if there is hypersensitivity to marigold, other composite plants or any of the other ingredients of Calendumed Gel.No prescription is required for this product.
Dosage and application
Unless otherwise prescribed, Calendumed Gel should be applied to the affected skin areas 1 to 3 times daily.The gel should be applied thinly and allowed to absorb.It is important not to use the gel for long periods of time without medical advice.No harmful effects are to be expected if the application is discontinued.
