Gargarisma for gargling is a traditional medicine for the treatment of mild inflammation of the gums and oral mucosa. It contains the active substance aluminium chloride hexahydrate. It is used by gargling or rinsing the mouth after diluting the medicine with water. The recommended dose is 30 drops, several times a day after meals. The medicine should be used until the symptoms have subsided. Side effects are not known. It must not be used if there is hypersensitivity to aluminium chloride or other ingredients. Children under 12 years of age should not use the medicine. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before use.
