Directions for use of the article Berberis E Fructibus Comp.Globuli Berberis E Fructibus Comp.Globuli is an anthroposophical medicinal product used to integrate the sensory organisation into the vital organisation in the nasopharynx. It can be used for various conditions such as sinusitis, chronic inflammation and hypertrophy of the palatine and pharyngeal tonsils and mucous membrane hypertrophy. It contains the active ingredients berberis vulgaris and urtica dioica. The application is done by dissolving the globules under the tongue. The dosage depends on the age of the patient, whereby infants should take 3 globules 3-5 times daily, children under 6 years of age 3-7 globules 3-5 times daily and adults as well as children over 6 years of age 5-10 globules 3-5 times daily. The medicine must be kept out of reach of children and contains sucrose (sugar) and lactose. It must not be used if there is a known allergy to any of the active ingredients. There are no known interactions with other medicinal products. A doctor should be consulted if symptoms persist for a long time or are unclear. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult a doctor before use as the medicinal product contains sucrose. Side effects are not known. If side effects occur, a doctor, pharmacist or healthcare professional should be consulted. The medicinal product should not be used after the expiry date.
