Directions for use of the article Betula/Arnica Comp. globules Betula/Arnica Comp. globules are an anthroposophical medicinal product for the treatment of rheumatic diseases. The globules contain various active ingredients, including Arnica montana, Betula pendula and sulphur. They are melted under the tongue. The medicine can be used for acute joint inflammation, muscular rheumatism and diseases of the joint environment. There are no known contraindications, but the doctor should be consulted in children under 6 years of age and during pregnancy and lactation. The dosage for adults and children over 6 years is 5-10 globules 1-2 times daily. The duration of treatment depends on the type of disease and should be completed after 2 weeks. In case of chronic diseases, consultation with the doctor is necessary. No side effects are known. However, if side effects occur, a doctor should be consulted and these can also be reported to the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices. The medicinal product should not be used after the expiry date and has a shelf life of 26 weeks after opening. The manufacturer of the medicinal product is WALA Heilmittel GmbH.
