Information for use on the article Betula/Mandragora comp. globules: Betula/Mandragora comp. globules velati are used according to the anthroposophical understanding of man and nature to stimulate the anabolic metabolism in painful degenerative and chronic inflammatory diseases of the locomotor system such as joint inflammation (arthritis), deforming arthrosis (arthrosis deformans) and subacute muscular and articular rheumatism. The globules contain sucrose (saccharose/sugar) and are available only in pharmacies. The dosage for children under 6 years of age is 5-10 globules velati 2 to 4 times daily, for adults and children over 6 years of age 10-15 globules velati 2 to 4 times daily. A comprehensive medical examination is recommended before use in children. The duration of treatment for acute diseases is 2 weeks, for chronic diseases consultation with the doctor is necessary.
